Dossier - authentic samples of a learner's work
In the Dossier learners collect pieces of work which illustrate what they have done and what they are able to do in different languages. This can be done using various kinds of text as well as audio and video recordings, Web pages, documentation of projects in which they have participated, etc.
- Collecting personal pieces of work over a period of time can help learners to see their own progress.
- For special occasions (job applications, change of school etc.) a selection of pieces of work can be drawn from the Dossier as an up-to-date illustration of what a learner is able to do.
- The Dossier may be a motive and a goal for special learning and teaching activities: the Dossier accommodates not only written texts but also audio and video recordings (talks, discussions, stage plays, radio plays, etc.).
